The SCORE Group studio staff responded quickly when they saw the photos Lissa Hope sent in. It was one of those “Stop the presses!” moments. We love them.
“It was less than 24 hours,” said Lissa. “I heard the next morning. I was sitting in bed and I got a call and I thought, ‘I think this number’s from Florida.’ So I answered, and the woman said we want you to come down to Miami this week. And I called my best friend and she said, ‘If you don’t do it, I’ll stop being friends with you.’ There was maybe 20 minutes of hesitation where I thought, ‘Is this really right for me?’ and here I am!”
There are many ways to find models. One of those ways is a friend who shows them our magazines or websites.
“I’m originally from Idaho. Small-town Idaho. Less than 200 people. I grew up on 20 acres. Horses, cows. The whole shebang. I have been told by girls that they’re fake, and I’ll say, I don’t remember getting surgery. But I did have someone say they look real. You can tell that they’re not fake.
“I’ve had people say, ‘There’s no way that you grew those yourself.’ And I was like, ‘I don’t know who else grew them. They’re on my body.’ And people say, ‘You must have back problems,’ and I say, ‘A little bit, but I like the way they look.’ I’ve had girls say, ‘If I had boobs like yours, I would never show them off. I would never wear something like that.'”
